We have learned, both from research and in practice, is that to ensure the health and prosperity of neighborhoods and the people who live there, we must strategically prioritize and strive for equity, improved health outcomes, and upward mobility.

Financial Literacy
From the Foundation Up
Our youth programs, target young adults and connect them with the support they need to become homeowners and financially stable. UHF youth programs are designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and individualized case management to help participants access our housing services. Staff in these programs provide young people with opportunities to achieve stability and empower them to change the trajectory of their futures. We will offer OSHA classes, Blueprint reading , Project Management, Estimating, and CAD classes. UHF youth program members will also have access to our homeownership initiatives, financial and credit literacy. All while teaching them the steps to affordable housing programs.
